Once the burn out process is completed, the flasks are placed on the vacuum table (or centrifugal casting machine), and then the metal is carefully melted to it's optimum flow point. The metal is then hand poured into the flask.

The flask is then allowed to bench cool to allow for proper solidification. Once the flask has cooled, it is then "quenched" in water. The rough castings are now cleaned of residual investment ready for finishing work.
